I hope this makes somebody’s day better, it did for me.

Fantasy Justice League
Lesbo-nerd time. My picks for Justice League actresses:

Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck) as Black Canary

Brittany Snow (Hairspray) as Super Girl

Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother) as Wonder Woman

Lucy Lawless (Xena: Warrior Princess) as Power Girl

Bryce Dallas Howard (Twilight) as Barbara Gordon aka Oracle
I remember
…lazy afternoons in Florida after school, I’d lay in bed with my dad, face-down in his pillows, and listen to the endless cheesy space-shows he used to watch… Stargate, Star Trek, Andromeda, X-Files, and one called Earth: Final Conflict that had the coolest spaceship… I found a picture of it:
I remember it being totally boring, with a lot of standing around talking really slowly about philosophy and playing chess. But that cool ass spaceship has stuck in my mind forever.
Things I Am Thinking About
Just gonna throw this stuff up here.
This is the story of a religious cult in Nigeria that was intentionally spreading smallpox to their enemies, until a valiant doctor joined, undercover, and put an end to it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sopona
This is a an actress who I think is very pretty and resembles a live-action version of Belle from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. She’s on Bones and played a character in L.A. Noire, the latter which I recognized instantly, even through a curtain of creepy CG. I like her name too. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0303013/
This is an unorthodox, artsy, turn-of-the-century, silent film that sounds interesting, but I’m only reading about it because of the elaborate Babylonian set that was built for it, which you can run around in and shoot gangsters in the videogame, L.A. Noire. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intolerance_(film)
And finally, this is the cool poster for that movie:

I’m thinking about the name for our Wizard Rock band… My favorites that are taken are The Ministry of Magic, Roonil Wazlib, or how about The Hermione-Crookshanks Experience.
Theres a band with all songs from the point of view of the giant squid in the lake (The Giant Squidstravaganza), the Whomping Willow (The Whomping Willows), Fred and George (Gred and Forge) (LOVE IT), so think about an angle we could have like that maybe.
Some more great names: Oliver Boyd and The Remembralls (one of my favorite bands), The Brothers Black, The Blibbering Humdingers, The Silver Doe, The Sectumsempras, The Moaning Myrtles (one of my least favorite bands), Wingardium Leviosa.
